The community of Suburban in Rizal were relocated from various informal settlements in Metro Manila deemed ‘danger zones’. Their new homes built within yards of an active fault line and in an area prone to flooding, are not safe either. When the river rises the community has around 30-minutes to warn downstream Banaba, flooding is due.
